Southern City Magazine

Working As One. Advancing All.

League publications, regardless of format, keep members informed about best practices around the state and country, emerging trends and technologies, policy proposals that affect municipalities, programs and services offered by the League, and key events taking place across the state. Southern City magazine is received by every elected municipal official and every key appointed official, and Southern City also serves as a great source of information for the public about all that is going in North Carolina cities and towns.

Southern City Magazine Distribution Changes

Beginning with Issue 3 of 2025, scheduled for release in September, all NCLM members will automatically receive a digital flipbook version of the magazine each quarter via email. This new format will make it easier than ever to access Southern City wherever you are and allows you to share it electronically across email and social media. All League members will automatically be added to the digital subscription. If non-members are interested in receiving the digital Southern City subscription, they can subscribe to the digital subscription list here.

In addition, each Town Hall (or main office for Associate members) will continue to receive at least one physical copy of Southern City in the mail.

These changes will allow for a faster, more efficient and cost-effective delivery of Southern City magazine, and we appreciate your understanding and support. If you have any questions about this change or want to request a physical copy of the magazine, please reach out to Isabella Mormando, Communications Associate.
